How to Finally Stop Food Cravings - Use EFT Tapping to Lose Weight
How to Finally Stop Food Cravings
Can’t stop eating your favorite foods?
I’m going to show you how to finally stop food cravings using EFT Tapping to lose weight without feeling deprived.
Let’s get to it...
First, I’m going to share step-by-step how you can finally stop your food cravings using EFT Tapping to lose weight. Plus, I’ll give you a bonus tip on how it’s possible to release your cravings even faster.
Let’s more deeply define what a food craving actually is.
What Is a Food Craving?
A food craving is a weight loss block. A weight loss block is a belief or pattern holding you back from losing weight.
A food craving is usually related to a positive experience that our subconscious wants to relive and is a big reason we keep turning to it for comfort.
Before we can begin ridding ourselves of these cravings. We first must make a list of the top 10 craveable foods. I ended up with a list of 50. But 10 is a great start.
By craveable foods I mean foods you make special trips to buy, foods you can eat in just one sitting, foods that NEVER last long in your house. In fact, they may not even make it to the pantry because you eat them as soon as they are in the house.
From that list, which food has the biggest pull for you? Which do you desire the most?
That’s the one to start working on first.
Make a list of all the things you like about that food. These things are called aspects.
Is the aspect you like the texture because it’s creamy or crunchy? Is the aspect you are really tuned into the sweetness or saltiness of it? Is it the gooeyness? The greasiness?
List out the top 3-5 aspects that you just LOVE about the food.
Tapping to Remove Your Cravings
Now you’ll tap on each aspect until you no longer have a desire for it. For example, maybe the biggest pull for someone with a barbeque potato chip craving is the greasiness.
You'd tap on how wonderful that greasiness is until that’s no longer a compelling trait.
After that, you would tap on the next aspect drawing you into that BBQ chip, maybe the saltiness. You’d continue to tap on the saltiness until that no longer gets you excited.
Then it could be how the chip dissolves in your mouth.
Once you tap on all the aspects, the food you crave just becomes food. Try taking a bite and see how it tastes. If you feel like you can take it or leave it, you’ve cleared the craving.
In the future, you’ll find you can have a bite and be fully satisfied.
You no longer have this uncontrollable need to finish off the whole bag of chips or carton of ice cream or whatever that is for you.
Food actually begins to last longer in your house. In fact, I have my clients date the food when it was last opened. Because after we do our special tapping technique for cravings months can go by before they go into it again.
They actually forget about the food.
It’s a great win to see that it’s been over two months since the last time they ate that food.
Bonus Tip - Start With Your Trigger Foods
Now, here’s my bonus tip. As I said earlier I recommend starting with your toughest cravings or trigger foods first.
Sometimes we just want to go for the easy ones, but here’s why you don’t want to in this case...
You may discover that your first few cravings take a little longer to release because they are the toughest.
And because you’ve worked through those tough ones, the different aspects you LOVE about the remaining foods on your list are less intense and you can tap the cravings away so much more quickly.
Where you get to the items last on the list and you may not even need to tap on it.
The remaining food items lose their craveability. That’s the beauty of tapping.
ALL tapping you do helps.
This is a direct result of the rewiring your subconscious goes through during tapping.
And in this case, the subconscious is relearning what food truly is.
Food becomes fuel, instead of being fun or a friend. Food starts becoming…just…food.
